Neda is an Associate Marriage and Family Therapist (AMFT# 103319) who practices individual, couple, group, and family psychotherapy under the supervision of Cara Gardenswartz, Ph.D. (PSY18399).
Neda began her career in the mental health community as a Behavior Therapist working with children diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder. Thereafter, Neda earned her Master of Arts in Clinical Psychology, with an emphasis in Marriage and Family Therapy, from Pepperdine University. While obtaining her Masters, she worked at The Maple Counseling Center in Beverly Hills, where she received extensive training in psychotherapy and worked with a variety of presenting problems, including anxiety, depression chronic illness, parenting and life transitions.
In addition to her clinical experience, Neda volunteers at the Cedars-Sinai Medical Center, where she supervises teenagers at the Center For The Study Of Young People/Teen Line. She also volunteers at Actively Moving Forward, a national support network that connects and empowers grieving young adults. Neda is an active member of the California Association of Marriage & Family Therapists (CAMFT) and the American Group Psychotherapy Association (AGPA).
Neda helps guide individuals through major transitions including divorce and loss. She also specializes in sexual trauma, anxiety, depression, and grief.
